Inspiring music for young string players by Odd J. Overøye. The CD contains music written to accompany selected works by three famous Scandinavian authors; Selma Lagerlöf: «The Sacred Flame», H. C. Andersen: «The Teapot» and Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson: «The Tree». These are classic children`s stories that have been told from generation to generation, and now in this context with accompanying music. The works - written for young string players at various levels of musical developement - is performed by The Chamber Orchestra of Trondheim City School of Music and Performing Arts, conducted by Sven Olav Lyngstad.
